Working in a small or medium sized charity or not for profit organisation often means that rather than a team of people there is just one person with responsibility for fundraising, or a chief executive without support from a team of experienced senior staff.

 

A programme of on-site training followed by on-going guidance, input and support with structured telephone and email contact proved particularly effective for supporting a new trust fundraiser during the first few months of their employment for example.
